Located in the municipal park, the Aquarium boasts over 150 different trees. With over seventy years of tradition and 50,000 visitors a year, the Aquarium enjoys an international reputation as the best-known aquarium in southern and central Europe. Its 39 huge aquariums, housing over 120 varieties of fish, will delight children and adults alike. The Terrarium, more recent and less well known, is also worth a visit to see the hundred or so reptiles, snakes and crocodiles from all over the world that live here.
