In the heart of a former plantation, this magnificent resort nestled in the tropical wilderness has just been taken over. When the island was French, Louis XIV offered the estate to the Devaux brothers in 1713. This eco-responsible former colonial estate is packed with charming cottages equipped for a pleasant stay. Each cottage has its own garden, veranda and one or two bedrooms. Also on site: two restaurants, a series of outdoor pools, an organic spa and a cocoa farm with its own boutique.

Not all conquered by the restaurant. As for the gardens, impossible to visit them. Cleanliness over dubious level tablecloth, covered... Basic kitchen step classy whole and average service. Pleasant setting if you closes the eyes on the details. I do not include entertaining prices on the web.
