In Chamalières, on the outskirts of Clermont-Ferrand, enjoy the creative cuisine of Michelin-starred chef Wilfrid Chaplain.

A few years ago, Michelin-starred chef Wilfrid Chaplain breathed new life into this fine establishment, gently run by the Mioche family. His uncluttered, inspired cuisine draws on the different terroirs of France. Each season, he highlights authentic products from Breton fishmongers, Burgundy winegrowers, Norman cider makers and local breeders, market gardeners and beekeepers. Add a cheese platter, fruit-based desserts, organic Grand Cru chocolate, hazelnuts and a sommelier with excellent advice: the alchemy is perfect!

Excellent ...et le mot est faible ?!
Nous y sommes allés pour arroser nos 42 ans de mariage sur les conseils de mon frère ( un habitué pour fêter les grands ou petits événements familiaux ) ! Pourquoi avons nous attendu ???? Tout est parfait ! La cuisine raffinée , les produits régionaux excellents ...Personnel discret et charmant ...Des Attentions avant et après le repas ...que dire sinon que nous reviendrons ! Merci pour l'attention supplémentaire concernant notre anniversaire de mariage !
Bref vous l'avez compris nous recommandons chaudement Le RADIO ! Mieux vaut aller moins au restaurant et faire honneur de temps à autre à nos grands cuisiniers AUVERGNATS ????????

Wonderful succulent dishes from the beginning to the end. A warm welcome. The chef and the pastry chef widely deserve their Michelin star. The flavour of the dishes enhanced by the " presentation; way Top Chef" (very modern) was delicious. The very professional and impeccable service by a friendly staff and attentive completed this meal. The trolleys of cheese and petit fours and sweets were impressive by their varieties and their freshness. We spent a pleasant gourmet experience.

Une formule midi qui vaut le détour. Un service du soir qui donne envie de trainer. Des poissons en croûte incroyables (châtaigne, chocolat !!!). Des mignardises très gourmandes. Une adresse pour gourmets-gourmands. A l'image du petit déjeuner, mais ça c'est une autre histoire..
