It's hard to beat the selection, as Le Buron sets the bar very high with an impressive variety of cheeses. Fred, the owner, unearths cheeses created deep in the mountains, with the flavors of the pastures. He also finds the best cheeses from elsewhere. He reinvents them by adorning them with truffles, like Saint-Nectaire, Brillat-Savarin or Brie de Meaux. New products arrive daily. Its fresh tome cheese can be used to prepare historic truffles. Le Buron also offers a range of delicatessen products.

Nous sommes passés au Buron pour acheter du Saint Nectaire et n'en sommes pas déçus! Malgré un long voyage (Clermont Ferrand - Lausanne) tous les fromages ont conservé leurs saveurs. Le fromager était très gentil, il n'a pas hésité à nous faire gouter son trésor et c'était un vrai plaisir de faire le choix en sa compagnie. Nous sommes ravis de retrouver un peu d'Auvergne dans nos assiettes en Suisse.

Aucune étoile....
De passage à Cournon, nous avons acheté un Saint-Nectaire....Immangeable !
Malheureusement, nous l'avons goûté 300 km plus loin. Nous avons appelé la fromagerie, et pour seule réponse à ces 14 € dépensés pour rien : "Que voulez-vous que j'y fasse" !
Aucune proposition de renvoi du fromage et de remboursement ou d'échange.... Rien !!!
Je ne recommande pas ce commerçant !
