You have to climb 20 minutes, from Quiet-Canoe, to win the Key of the Fields, and then hit the mid-heights of the West. This unusual and picturesque address is well worth a visit. A vast charm, held by Martine and Léon, a nice metro-Creole couple, it houses six guest rooms with magnificent views of the cane fields and, beyond, the ocean. Carefully decorated, they have a king size bed and an elegant bathroom with a large bathtub. The 2 family rooms in duplex are ideal for children. Several TV lounges and comfortable dining rooms are also nestled in the property. The whole, tastefully and elegantly furnished, blends the styles of the present and the other with its sumptuous wooden furniture, its cinema fabrics and its walls conferred in tadelakt, in the way of the Moroccan riads. Outside the Jacuzzi and a lush Creole garden, there are a few tables on this huge lawn that go down to the horizon, receiving bucolic and spectacular breakfasts when the climate lends itself to it. For dinner, Martine combines sophisticated and tasty metropolitan cuisine with local products. In short, an enchanting place, ideal for a two-way stay.
