Just 100 m from the Maison du Volcan, the Auberge du Volcan, warm in its slightly old-fashioned style, prepares Creole and subway cuisine to be savoured after a long walk to the volcano. It is one of the oldest establishments in Bourg Murat. The welcome, the service and the quality of the dishes are always top-notch. You can go there with your eyes closed but it is better to call ahead to book as the tourist coaches often make a stop there in high season. And if you wish to linger there, the Auberge du Volcan is also a very affordable hotel.

Endroit idéal pour passer une petite nuit avant d'attaquer le volcan.
Nous avons également manger à l'Auberge le soir. Le serveur était très sympa, la patronne un peu moins... La salle du restaurant est vieille et pas très propre, avec une forte odeur de cuisine. Le repas était convenable, ni plus ni moins.
