LE PITON DES FORGES

A high capacity structure for hikers and groups. The Piton des Forges is at the end of the road to the left at the Bellevue stables, a proposing quiet place 2 minutes'drive from the centre. This large building offers 10 rooms of 2 or 3 beds, double or bunk, with private bathrooms, and dormitories were in anticipation during our passage. Lambrissées, with modest comfort, meets the very low rates. Outside, they open onto a beautiful panorama, different from the rooms. Inside, they provide a large dining room with 200 seats, where residents'meals are served (underground and Creole cuisine) as well as banquets and wedding meals. It was resumed in 2015 but has been existing for ages, with existing facilities and others in anticipation, including Wi-Fi, accessible in the main room, which will soon be in the rooms. There is a tennis court, while a games room and another cinema are planned.
