Small, brightly-colored shingled huts, terrace with breathtaking views of the Rivière des Galets and Ilet-aux-Lataniers, just opposite. Built in typical Creole style, Grand Place Cayenne promises an authentic, immersive experience in the heart of the Mafate cirque. It has 16 beds in a dormitory and 2 double rooms, with shared bathroom facilities. Simple and comfortable. Sheets and blankets provided. Camping not permitted. Creole cuisine prepared by Lydia and Gildas, using fresh local ingredients.

Very beautiful accommodation, comfortable bungalow and pleasantly colored, with a nice view from the bedroom. Great reception, excellent meal. Ideal location. Our favorite cottage during our mafate journey, we would have stayed one more night.

A very warm welcome of the whole family. Management and his wife take the time to speak with us, discover their culture and their delicious recipes!
The view is magnificent, the very nice cottage.
Only small difficulty would be the rooms that would require a little refreshment.
Recommended.
