Lodging located in the heart of the islet of Grand-Place proposing a traditional kitchen to the wood fire.

We particularly appreciate this gîte in the heart of the Grand-Place islet. The new, modern Creole-style bungalows face a beautiful grassy esplanade where the tables are set, with a panoramic view of the cirque. An ideal spot for an aperitif after a good day's hiking. The gîte comprises two areas, one with 15 dormitory beds and a double room, the other with 8 comfortable double rooms. Traditional wood-fired cooking. Well-stocked small grocery store with sandwiches to keep you supplied.

The cottage is located at the very end of the islet which is tiring at end of the day of the promenade. The setting is nice and quiet, but you are likely to get bored if you arrive too early. The room was clean but we had to chase several cockroaches! The room was badly soundproofed, we heard of the dormitory on â- side. The shared facilities are well. The meals are generous and friendly and the guest is warm and friendly. There is a small grocery store practical to be fed. Y one-way for quiet, reception, meals and the view in the morning.
