Every year in October, the Festival de la Rando offers guided hikes in the cirque of Mafate.

Organized by the Office de tourisme de l'Ouest, the Festival de la Rando returns every year with a program dedicated to nature lovers and hikers, discovering the Mafate cirque. Over three weekends, three formulas are offered (rando + bivouac, rando + camping, rando + gîte) with sixteen possible circuits depending on the type of walker (from beginner to expert). An immersive experience rich in exchanges and encounters, with hikes guided by passionate guides, in the heart of a natural heritage unique in the world.
