Opened in 2002, Rithihi is a very nice store offering original textiles from all over the Indian subcontinent, whose owner is particularly keen on promoting young Sri Lankan designers and stylists, as well as the island's traditional fabrics. A high-end collection of saris of course, but also pashminas, kurtas, shawls, tunics, upholstery, tablecloths, cushions, bedspreads made by craftsmen, which are all unique pieces combining silk, cotton, cashmere, wool or viscose
