The first store of Sri Lanka's flagship clothing brand, Odel, opened in 1990. The name comes from its founder, Otara Del Gunawardene, who started her adventure in 1989 by selling surplus stores to her family and friends in the back of her car. Today, there are about twenty Odel stores on the island. Clothing, perfumes, cosmetics, books, CDs, shoes, luggage, watches, accessories, souvenirs, teas, gifts... It is also one of the largest online fashion stores in Sri Lanka.
