The KSTCP was established in 1988. Its purpose is to monitor local sea turtle activity, conserve local nesting sites and raise awareness of the threat of extinction to these beautiful creatures. Admission fees are used to buy back turtle eggs from fishermen to give them a chance to hatch. Protection and preservation of the species are the key words of this place. Also welcomes volunteers wishing to participate in this adventure.
