The Vibration Hotel and Restaurant offers nice rooms and the restaurant is a sure bet in Hikkaduwa. The place comes alive every Friday night with the famous Friday Night Party where all the party people from the city and the surrounding area, young and old, tourists and locals, flock since the year 2000, when it was created. Sri Lankan and international DJs come to play electro music and fill the dance floor. The Vibes Tribal Drummers, a group of local percussionists, sometimes join them to raise the mood.
