The Puppet Restaurant & Cafe, part of the Le Jardin du Fort hotel, opened its doors at the end of 2023. Previously a small, friendly café, it is now a pleasant place to enjoy traditional and original Sri Lankan cuisine. Made using only local ingredients, dishes are divided into three categories to make it easier for tourists to choose: mild, mildly spicy and spicy. The decor features a fine collection of traditional puppets for a very folkloric feel. Excellent value for money.
