This retreat of monks, ideally located in the city, is probably the cheapest accommodation in Kandy… but comfort in the middle of this haven of peace is really summary. 6 basic rooms with shared toilets and showers are reserved for visitors. Despite the summary comfort, the place is clean and many of the small budget travellers try their luck here. Think about reserving ahead in the high season. If you are a Buddhist monk, you will enjoy a more modern room.
