Located in the residential area of Ampara, southwest of the city centre, the Monty Hotel is the only large hotel in the city. It offers 50 simply decorated but comfortable and well appointed rooms in three categories, all with air conditioning. The hotel also has a restaurant serving local and international cuisine, a small bar and a nice swimming pool.
