CAP TELEGRAPH TOWER
A tower next to the museum, where trained volunteers will teach you all about it in a fun, interactive way.
Thanks to the work of Claude Chappe, France was the first country to benefit from a telecommunications network! Volunteers trained by the Société d'Histoire de la Poste et des Télécoms en Alsace will take you on a tour of the museum, housed in a small cottage next to the telegraph tower. They'll give you a demonstration of the device. The museum will teach you all about the tower, in a fun and interactive way. The tour can easily be combined with a visit to Château du Haut Barr.
