Rose garden designed by Peter Lambert, with over 8,500 roses in Saverne.
This rose garden, designed by architect Peter Lambert, was created in 1898 by the Société Alsacienne et Lorraine des Amis des Roses de Saverne. This extraordinary garden is home to more than 8,500 rose bushes, blooming in spring in an explosion of color and fragrance. Many activities are offered during the rose garden's opening period: pruning and grafting courses, cutting of wilted roses, rose festival (mid-June), guided tours or rose tea and cake tasting (for groups of 8).
