GREEN BAMBOO
Vietnamese and Thai cuisine in a restaurant in Buenos Aires using DJs on weekends.
Very good Vietnamese (but Thai) cuisine in a tasteful, minimalist decor where green and red predominate. Oriental ambiance (on the bottom, you can eat in the Asian style), even if most customers prefer to settle around a table. Aromatic cuisine that shows a true knowledge of Vietnamese flavours. On the specialty side, the muc hiem bo, a dish based on pickled fried squid in a curry sauce is often advised by servers, quite rightly. Amateurs fans will probably jump on the thit bo xao, a beautiful pièce beef piece with chili, chili and ginger. It is accompanied by a salad that mixes coco, banana and tofu. The other great speciality of the house is the cocktails, always very sweet and accompanied by oriental liquors. They drink like small milk. At the end of the weekend, a DJ comes to play at the end of the evening. A little incongruous in these places, but rather rather successful.
