What's that? The best pizza in Buenos Aires is made in this little joint? That's what many Porteños think. From the large 60 cm diameter pans come hearty pizzas that are sold by the slice. The originality of the place is that you can only eat... standing up! The oven has been in operation since 1932, and to attract customers, Pirilo used to display soccer scores above the counter. A very traditional place, it's part of San Telmo's heritage and is literally packed on Sundays, the day of the feria.
