ABASTO SHOPPING CENTER
One of the Porteños's great pride, to believe that it is essential to go to Buenos Aires. This shopping centre is very practical because it brings together nearly 230 shops. The site also has several cinemas. Inside, we will have to forget the authentic side of a traditional Argentine. There are many international brands represented there. It has been installed since 1998 in the old halls of the city and has at least the merit of possessing a facade that refers to the architecture of the old buildings. They recall the illustrious past of the place, immeasurable fruit and vegetable market, which the first traders were able to take advantage of as early as 1893. The buildings, as can be seen today, are in the midst of the large renovation of 1934, when the Abasto market became one of the largest in Latin America. It has long been an integral part of the popular culture of the Abasto district, and of the city of Buenos Aires as a whole. It is still a place of meeting and regular crossing of all residents of and around the neighbourhood. Report one or two very good Peruvian restaurants on the opposite side.
