"San Juan y Boedo antiguo, y todo el cielo..." Those who sing the famous tango Sur written by Homero Manzi already know the address. In a huge room reminiscent of old Parisian brasseries, people come to honor the memory of one of the great tango lyricists. They also come to dine and enjoy the daily tango shows, which start at 10pm (dinner at 9pm). While the bar itself may seem rather touristy, it does have the merit of introducing travellers to a historic tango district that has gradually sunk into oblivion.
