A restaurant just across the street from the theater serves excellent Argentinean cuisine, with an emphasis on meat. But the main attraction lies elsewhere. Since 1969, El Viejo Almacen has been offering top-class tango performances. The dancers perform divinely and take a few moments to rest, which are used by two singers and a few musicians. The venue, located in the heart of a former hospital, is very pleasant, with all seats well placed to watch the tangueros at work. A show of the highest quality.
