ASOCIACIÓN MADRES DE PLAZA DE MAYO
The Mothers'Association of Plaza de Mayo, founded in 1977, is named after the famous name of the same name, faced with the Casa Rosada, on which these courageous mothers rotate every week since April 1977 to claim justice and memory for the 30 000 missing (de) of the military dictatorship (1976-1983). The Asociación has since politicized, seeking to live up to the revolutionary ideals and social justice of the disappeared, and is therefore committed to many political subjects other than human rights and the Argentine military dictatorship. To relay its socialist and non-aligned ideas, the association has a newspaper, a radio, a university (Universidad Popular de Madres de Plaza de Mayo) or a bookshop. His president is the charismatic Hebe of Hebé.
