Church with colonial architecture, housing a museum of sacred art spread over the 3 floors of the cloister and hosting numerous weddings.
Completed in 1732, this church, one of the oldest in Buenos Aires, is a fine example of colonial architecture. During your visit you will also find a museum of sacred art spread over the three floors of the cloister. Inside there are a large number of images and cult objects of the Recollets monks. In the 18th century, when the district of Recoleta attracted the entire Portan bourgeoisie, it hosted many weddings between members of the Argentine elite. Hence a certain prestige that has stood the test of time.
