The largest Argentinas figures are buried here.
Some tombs are real monuments.
The cemetery is huge. Moreover you get lost a little. It is to have a better plan (to be bought outside).
Not far from the train station of retiro, to integrate absolutely in a stroll. Many tombs of art deco style, which the majority are well maintained, and other interesting architectural styles. The cemetery is small, the entrance is free, pleasant staff; you can buy a map or derive according to your centres of interest.....
Exceptional site, visit unmissable, and not only for the tomb of Avoided, which alone is worth the trip... but also for all these other tombs of famous Argentinian figures, and especially for the particularly rich architecture of the tombs. This cemetery is like a real open-air museum!
