MUSEO CASA CARLOS GARDEL
The house has been converted into a museum, with several rooms preserved and numerous documents on the life of the legendary artist Gardel.
This is the house Gardel bought from his mother in 1927. They both lived there until 1933. Many documents on Gardel's life are on display, including newspaper articles, old records and even portraits, with the aim of preserving and publicizing the cultural heritage of this legendary artist and icon of Argentine tango. Several rooms have been preserved in their original state, but since the museum's complete refurbishment in 2017, the place has changed somewhat, and these remodellings have completely distorted the spirit of the house.
