Obelisk 67.50 m high, the rallying point for celebrating the victory of your soccer team or national selection.

Inaugurated in 1936 for the 400th anniversary of the founding of Buenos Aires, the obelisk is the symbol of the city at 67.50 meters high. On each side of the obelisk are engraved inscriptions that recall the different functions of Buenos Aires, such as Capital Federal or Buenos Aires a la República. It was here that the flag of the Argentine nation was raised for the first time in 1812, on top of the church of San Nicolás, which has now disappeared. Today, it is the rallying point to celebrate the victory of one's soccer team or the national selection.
