STINK OF MUJER
A pedestrian-only bridge designed by Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava, offering a stroll along the quays of Puerto Madero.
During a stroll along the quays of Puerto Madero, this bridge reserved for pedestrians never fails to jump in the eyes of passers-by. And when restaurant owners are asked if they can see it in their field of vision on the posh terraces of the neighbourhood, they generally answer that it evokes two people dancing tango. The long strings that run from the large diagonal point serve to support the moving part. Inaugurated in 2001, it is the work of the Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava, the only one he has made in Latin America.
