MUSEO CASA ROSADA
Museum in the basement of Casa Rosario, displaying objects and relics belonging to successive Argentine presidents.
The Museo del Bicentenario was inaugurated by ex-president Cristina Kirchner in May 2011, following the bicentenary of the May Revolution of 1810, and was renamed in 2016. It houses the collection formerly on display in the museum located in the basement of the Casa Rosada. The latter, created in 1957, closed its doors in 2010. The current museum features objects and relics belonging to successive Argentine presidents. The museum's library of some 17,000 volumes covers 200 years of national history.
