ICE PALACE
Cultural space built over a skating rink in 1910, hosting commercial exhibitions, paintings, textiles, prints, etc.
This cultural space owes its name to the origins of the place, as the Ice Palace was built over an ice rink in 1910, frequented by the high society of Port-au-Prince, before becoming a dance hall and then a television studio. Since 1932, it has mainly hosted commercial exhibitions, largely sponsored by important patrons. There are paintings, sculptures, engravings, drawings, textiles, ceramics, photographs... Not all are equal, far from it, but take a look at the program because some are worth the detour.
