MUSEO DE ARTISTAS ARGENTINOS QUINQUELA MARTÍN
Museum on the second floor of a school, with a permanent collection of local painters from the and centuries.
During the 1930s, the child from the Quinquela Martín neighbourhood, who had become a famous painter, decided to set up a school in a different style. This school would share its premises with works by artists, giving children the opportunity to experience art on a daily basis. Today the museum is installed on the first floor of this neighbourhood school. The permanent collection features local painters from the 19th and 20th centuries and is largely devoted to the work of Martín.
