A restored, larger, brighter and more modern museum hosting lectures, art workshops and foreign works.
Larger, brighter and more modern, this museum, restored in 2018, now hosts conferences and artistic workshops. Rogelio Yrurtia, an Argentine sculptor (1879-1950), whose work Canto al Trabajo is renowned, offered the city his neo-colonial-style residence (located in the Belgrano district). It contains bronzes, paintings, period furniture and both utilitarian and decorative objects. Also foreign works (Picasso, Rodin...).
