Magnificent botanical garden in a haven of peace, in the center of the park, with over 8,000 species of plants from all over the world

This magnificent garden was designed and conceived by the Franco-Argentinean landscape architect Carlos Thays. The latter, who has created a large number of gardens and parks in Argentina, even lived in the beautiful English-style house located in the centre of the park. The Botanical Garden is home to more than 8,000 species of plants from all over the world. It was once an ammunition depot. Take time to stroll among the sculptures of Italian artists, nature and the small botanical museum. A pleasant haven of peace to get into the green, open since 1909.

Un très beau jardin botanique qui nous permet de découvrir en partie la végétation Sud américaine. Un endroit calme pour se balader et s'extraire quelques heures de la ville. J'y ai passé un moment agréable.

Nombreuses espèces végétales. différent "quartiers" sont organisés selon les végétaux : europe; amérique du nord, du sud... on y voit également les fameuses herbes qui servent à faire le maté ! Superbes scultures également tout au long du parc.
