The club has won over 2,000 races and is a pillar of the rowing world. Four rowers from the club have reached the Olympic podium: Horacio Podesta and Julio Curatella in Berlin in 1936, Eduardo Guerrero in Helsinki in 1952 and Alberto Demiddi in Mexico in 1968 (bronze) and Munich (silver).
In addition to rowing and canoeing, the institution boasts a 25,000 m² surface area for a variety of activities, including soccer, tennis, volleyball and basketball.
