MUSEO LAS LILAS DE ARECO
A pretty little museum with a fine collection, housing a small café with terrace and a room dedicated to vintage horse-drawn carriages.
This pretty little museum brings together a fine collection of watercolours, pastels, oils and posters by the emblematic artist of gaucha culture, Florencio Molina Campos (1891-1959). The paintings, which are close to naive art, show the gauchos, their universe and their folklore, with a touch of cheerful humour. There is also a whole room dedicated to horse-drawn carriages. These period vehicles are on the whole well preserved and you will learn all about their history and specificities. The museum has a small café with its terrace.
