CASA DE HORACIO QUIROGA
House converted into a museum featuring writings, photos and accounts of the life of Uruguayan writer Horacio Quiroga
In the middle of the jungle, you can visit what was once the home of Horacio Quiroga, Uruguayan writer of genius, Argentinean by adoption and lover of the province of Misiones. His life strewn with tragedies will inspire his most beautiful news: Los Perseguidos (1905), Cuentos de amor de locura y muerte (1917), Cuentos de la selva (1918), Anaconda (1921). The house has been transformed into a museum where writings, photos and testimonies of the writer's life are exhibited. The place is well maintained and it's nice to imagine living there. Interesting.
