Carmelite convent with a Baroque façade, where you can join the nuns at mass at sunrise
Known as the "Convento de las Teresas", this Carmelite convent has been in operation since 1628. The community of Sisters lives from its cultures and some handicraft activities. One can join, at daybreak, the mass given by the sisters. We can also ask them to pray for us. The chapel dates from the 17th century. The facade evokes a baroque style. It was also the birthplace of the first Argentine poet, Luis de Tejeda.
