MUSEO PROVINCIAL DE BELLAS ARTES EMILIO CARAFFA
Museum in Sarmiento Park, featuring ancient classical works and pieces of Argentina's historical heritage
Located in the Sarmiento Park, the high building gives the impression of dominating the Plaza España. It is named after one of the most famous painters of Cordoba, who also painted the frescoes in the city's cathedral. The museum was originally only a fine arts museum, bringing together ancient classical works, but today it mixes contemporary art with pieces of Argentina's historical heritage. With more than 1,100 works, this museum is well worth a visit.
