The Parque Sarmiento is the lung of the city, a sort of Central Cordobais Park of more than 100 hectares. In addition to a maze of green spaces, there is a rainforest-style zoo (daily from 9am to 6pm), a botanical garden (weekdays from 8am to 6pm, weekends from 10am to 6pm, free admission), an amusement park (Super Park, daily from 2pm), two museums (the Caraffa Museum and the Natural Science Museum) and above all a magnificent open-air swimming pool with colonial arcades. The inhabitants come to walk, run or drink mate.
