Córdoba's civic center, with a large basement parking lot, houses the city's governing bodies, including the Palace of Justice

Unlike Plaza San Martín, which marks the entrance to the historic heart, Plaza de la Intendencia houses the city's governing bodies, including the Palace of Justice. The civic center is a much calmer, more airy district. The square is almost perfectly round and harmoniously proportioned. In the middle is a pond, surrounded by lush green trees that now shade this lively and popular square. Children's playground. Less interesting, but still practical, is the large underground parking lot.
