Córdoba's tree- and statue-lined entertainment center, a place to relax and meet, offering guided tours
The Plaza de Córdoba is the center of the city, from where you can explore the historical center. Today it appears as a place to relax and meet, but it was once an open space for military parades and religious processions (it was designed in 1577). It was also the place where those condemned to death were executed. The square took on a more human face at the beginning of the 20th century with a more charming layout (trees and statues). All guided tours start from this square.
