Between 1912 and 1971, a railroad used to take curists by train from Riom to Châtel-Guyon. Now disused, the former railroad line is now home to a greenway, to be inaugurated in 2019, which is ideal for soft mobility. Walkers, cyclists and even families with children in baby carriages can enjoy a 2.5-kilometre walk on stabilized ground. Once you've reached the final lookout point, you can choose to do the same in the opposite direction, or to continue towards the Ambène stream greenway on the other side of the ring road.
