CAREFREE STROLL IN THE VALLEY
Valley of Sans-Souci in Châtel-Guyon offering a walk to the "Cascade de l'Écureuil" for the most courageous.
The Sans-Souci valley is said to take its name from a hermit who lived here. The walk starts at the bottom of the valley and follows the Romeuf stream against the current. Cross it at the footbridge and return to your starting point via Rochepradière. Pass through Place du Tilleul, Rue de la Fontaine and Rue des Caires. If you're feeling brave, take a right before crossing the stream, to make a detour to the Écureuil waterfall (1 km round trip).
