A pretty, simple and well-maintained cathedral in the main square, with a sober, bright interior and 5 successive naves
The beautiful, simple and well-maintained cathedral that adorns the main square (east of the square, on Mitre) was built in 1885 by the Catalan architect Pedro Coll and is dedicated to Nuestra Señora del Rosario. Its interior is sober and luminous, it is a pleasant place for a moment of meditation and calm. It has been rebuilt in the place of the old cathedral, which was falling in ruins. It is remarkable for its five successive naves, there are only three such buildings left in all of Latin America.
