There's not much transport in Cachi, so it's best to make arrangements in advance, to make sure you have enough space and know the timetable, which can change.
From Salta, allow a good 4-hour journey (cheaper if you buy a return ticket) to cover the 165 kilometers separating the two cities. Departure every day (Monday to Sunday) at 8am. Additional departures daily.
Cachi-Salta. Three buses a day, at night, in the morning and in the afternoon. Cost approx. US$4.
Cachi-Molinos About a two-hour drive. One or two buses a day.
