Little blue train travels over the 63-metre-high Polvorilla viaduct from San Antonio de los Cobres
The tren a las nubes is unfortunately no longer as majestic as it used to be. It only covers a very short distance from San Antonio de los Cobres, which you can reach by bus (you can go there yourself if you have a motorized vehicle). The trip, if it is really beautiful, is spoiled by the "mass tourism" side created by the six crowded buses that follow each other to get to San Antonio de los Cobres. Still, it's a nice attraction, especially the Polvorilla viaduct, where you'll be suspended 63 meters high in your little blue train.

The Train to the Clouds tour includes a departure from the city of Salta, following the RN 51 to the towns of Campo Quijano and Gobernador Solá until El Alfarcito, where a country breakfast is planned with local products prepared by the communities in the area. There is an operational center of the Alfarcito Foundation, whose work reaches 25 communities in the area and the Albergue de Montaña school, which accommodates 154 children and with an orientation in tourism.

Muy caro para el turismo nacional.
El recorrido en tren dura aprox. 2.30hs también con guía y médicos arriba. Se hace una parada en el medio donde se iza la bandera y hay artesanos.
A la vuelta te dan una merienda.
Puede que se cancele por lluvia pero en ese caso te dejan reprogramarlo o te devuelven la plata.
