PLAZA BELGRANO
Square with lawns and trees, featuring a statue of General Belgrano, benches and children's playground equipment
A small fantasy from Jujuy that does not evoke San Martín through the name of its square, but has chosen to honour General Belgrano whose statue thrones in the centre. There are a few welcoming lawns where you can take a siesta in the shade of the trees that dot the square. Of course, benches are also scattered throughout the square, for the more traditional ones. You will also find games for children in the square. It is a convenient place to start a tour of the city. You will discover the cathedral and the Casa de Gobierno.
