Adobe church in the main square, housing paintings by the Cuzco school and objects of great artistic value
In the main square, the adobe church dates from 1778 and is dedicated to Santa Rosa de Lima, celebrated every August 30th with processions, erke and bombos (pan flute and local tambourines). Inside we can see paintings of the school of Cuzco and objects of great artistic value. Its beams and frame are made of cactus wood. In the courtyard, on your right, do not miss thealgarrobo (carob tree) and its impressive roots. It is said to be over 500 years old.
